


Archway's layout
Archway comprises of 7 single bedrooms; all with en-suit facilities. All en-suite bathrooms have a two doors giving good clear access to the facilities. Each room has underfloor heating to reduce the risk posed from radiators and gives service users freedom to control their individual room temperature. Bedrooms have a personal telephone line, Sky TV and VHF aerial. Rooms have been fitted with extra large fittings to aid easy operation of equipment. A compressive call point system is installed in every bedroom and en-suite. Each service user can personally lock their own room.
Additionally upstairs is a bathroom with a parker bath & call points located for easy access
At the left hand side of the first floor is a single staircase leading to the outside of the property. On the right hand side of the property is a double staircase leading to the ground floor
The ground floor can be access via an 8-person lift, which is located in the centre of the building.
The ground floor comprises of:
Lounge / Conservatory, which has an independent telephone, which receives, in coming and out going calls. Sky TV as well an as a VHF aerial
The dining room can be accessed via the lounge and kitchen; the kitchen is a modern and accessible kitchen to all whom live at Archway House
The laundry room is well equipped and access can be accessed from the main lobby
Access to the Resource Centre is made also available from the rear of the property for the service users within in the home (a statement of purpose can be obtained for this centre on request)
All doors operate on a door entry system; service users can hold and retain a fob, which can give them or their relativities access to the property
The garden layout gives an air of peace and tranquillity it offers a spacious area to occupy a number of activities with accessibility to wheelchair users.
