Archway House

This house has 7 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and nurse call in all rooms. Rooms have been fitted with extra large fittings to aid easy operation of equipment. We have a lift installed for easy access to first floor rooms. Archway House caters for young adults and is very much a happy and lively house.

The staff work to create management strategies encouraging the people who live at the Home to take responsibility for their own actions whilst gaining understanding of appropriate methods of expressing their feelings.

Staff supports residents to undertake everyday living skills including cooking, laundry, housework and gardening. The residents enjoy a variety of leisure activities within the home whilst also receiving staff support to access bars, theatres, cinemas and holidays etc.
Residents are encouraged to be involved in all decisions made within their home and regular house meetings are held.

Residents within The Home are involved in further educational programmes both from local colleges and our own Resource Centre.
