Welcome TO Archway House

 

This House has 7 bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and nurse-call. Rooms have been fitted with extra large fittings to aid easy operation of equipment. We have a lift installed for easy accessibility to the first floor. Archway House caters for young adults and is very much a happy and lively house.

The staff work to create management strategies encouraging the people who live at the home to take responsibility for their actions whilst gaining an understanding of appropriate methods of expressing their feelings.

Staff supports residents to undertake everyday living skills including cooking, laundry, housework and gardening. The residents enjoy a variety of leisure activities with in the home whilst also receiving staff support to access bars, theatres, cinemas and holidays etc.

Residents are encouraged to be involved in all decisions made within their home and regular house meetings are held.

Residents are involved in further educational programmes both from local colleges and outside learning structure.
